Meet Danielle

I’m Danielle, building a life with my husband and our baby in Pennsylvania. I split my time between work, home, and the things I make—cooking vegetarian meals, working with my hands, and paying attention to the details that make everything run more smoothly. I care about creating a home that feels cohesive and well put together, but also functions the way we need it to day to day. I tend to focus on what holds up over time, whether it’s a meal, a routine, or the way a home runs—usually with a spreadsheet somewhere in the mix. This space reflects that approach—grounded in what actually works and worth keeping.

Most people don’t knock. They just come in.

I’m Danielle and this is House of Everwild.

This is where I keep the things that are actually working in my life—meals I’ve made more than once, projects I’ve taken the time to finish, and small systems that keep everything from feeling scattered.

I cook vegetarian, usually starting with what we already have and building from there.
I make things—crochet, beaded work, small detailed projects that take time and attention. I don’t rush them. I’d rather get it right than get it done quickly.
I pay attention to how our home runs, what makes it easier, what doesn’t, and I adjust.

I tend to notice the small things—the way something is finished, how it holds up over time, whether it actually works more than once. That’s usually what decides if it stays.

I don’t keep things just because they look good.
If something stays, it’s because it earns its place—because it’s useful, repeatable, or it makes the day feel better in a way that actually matters.

This isn’t about having everything perfectly in place.
It’s about knowing what works, keeping it, and letting the rest go.

If you’re here for that—you’re in the right place.
